Just like any cherished possession, your Babybee pram deserves some tender love and care to maintain its pristine condition. Every six or so months we recommend performing some very quick and easy maintenance that will ensure it continues to serve you and your family for years to come.
Regular maintenance should include:
Quick check: Take a moment to inspect the locking devices, levers, joints, buttons, brakes, wheels, safety harness, and fixtures. Ensure they are securely in place, move freely, and are working perfectly. Your little one's safety is our top priority!
Clean those wheels: Occasionally, dust and dirt can accumulate in the joining parts of the wheels. To keep them clean and functional, remove the wheels and gently clean any accumulated debris around the wheel pin and wheel hub. A quick wipe with a soft cloth will do the trick!
Loosen stiff parts: If you notice any stiffness, difficulty in operating, or annoying squeaks, let's get to the bottom of it! First, make sure dirt isn't the culprit. Then, try a light application of a sprayable silicone lubricant like WD40. Apply it and ensure it penetrates between the components. Ah, silence is golden!
Cleaning instructions:
Crumbs and dust, be gone: Use a brush or a vacuum cleaner to whisk away all those pesky crumbs and dust that can find their way into even the tiniest creases. We want every nook and cranny to be pristine!
Handwash your seatliner: Pop your seatliner into a cool and gentle wash to give it a refreshing makeover. After all, we want your little one to have the comfiest seat in town!
Spot cleaning magic: For the other parts of your pram, a gentle cleaner will do the trick. Simply spot clean any spills or stains to keep your pram looking its best.
Ensure ample drying time:
Now, here's an important tip to ensure your pram stays in perfect condition.
After cleaning, when your pram is still damp, make sure to extend the canopy fully and find a well-ventilated space for it to dry completely. This step is essential to prevent any rust, mould, or moisture build-up. We want your pram to stay fresh and ready for all your adventures, rain or shine!
