Social Media & Community Manager

This position will allow you to unleash your creative side and utilise your community management skills to help build an engaged and authentic online community.

You will be an important part of the Babybee marketing team, responsible for all organic social media channels and our community engagement strategy.

As our Social Media Guru and the face of our brands on Social Media platforms, you will create innovative content using your great sense of style and eye for beautiful pictures and videos.

Reporting to the marketing manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing an innovative social strategy across all of our channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and our blog.
  • Measuring, reporting and analysing the performance of content across channels and translating these learnings into actionable recommendations for our creative team by establishing a data-driven approach to content; constantly analysing what worked, why it worked and how we can improve upon it.
  • End-to-end managing strategic relationships with social media influencers and media companies
  • Creating a PR strategy for each market we’re in, and be our brand champion for partnerships, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Working with the marketing team to create a thoughtful content calendar that tells seasonal, impactful and relevant stories throughout the year.
  • Work with the Graphic Designer to produce fresh, engaging and aspirational content that drives results across all channels, including photography, customer content, video and copywriting assets.
  • Work with our Digital Marketer (responsible for paid social) and develop a strategy to use our organic social channels to rapidly and thoughtfully test content.
  • Constantly identify and stay up-to-date with new trends and viral campaigns, reacting quickly and working with our creative team to piggyback a trend if it makes sense.
  • Spearhead unique and meaningful campaigns (competitions, collaborations etc) that not only help to drive engagement and reach, but also effectively build an emotional connection to the audience and lead to a strong digital experience.
  • Work within a variety of social media management tools and content management system for scheduling and publish content on a global scale.
  • Blog writing engaging and informative content for our Customer Resource Website; The Baby Edit

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years of experience in managing a large eCommerce or consumer-facing brands social media channels. including experience creating and implementing social media strategies that have delivered commercial objectives and successful outcomes
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, visual communication, graphic design or equivalent.
  • You have an excellent understanding of each social channel and the nuances between them, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • EXCELLENT written and communications skills, including experience in blog or long-form copywriting
  • You have experience using social management tools, including content management, scheduling and community management (Sked experience favourable).
  • Adobe suite proficiency – you will be supported by a full-time graphic designer, but will also be expected to create content (photography, digital images, gifs, video etc) from scratch yourself.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize several brand/international market feeds and platforms at once
  • An excellent understanding of social media KPI’s and how to track and talk to these results and insights. You can confidently dive into the numbers to understand and communicate performance and performance drivers.

eCommerce Marketing Specialist

We’re seeking an experienced marketer with a passion for eCommerce who thrives on autonomy and seeing the results of their efforts directly impacting the business.

A focus on performance and outcomes, we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running across our Shopify plus store and marketing calendar. You’ll develop and help lead creative online brand campaigns that continuously position Babybee and our brands as a brand of choice in the pram and stroller industry.

If you’re a creative, eCommerce focused marketing whiz with a proven track record in brand and campaign marketing, we want to hear from you!

Note: this is not a Digital Marketing (PPC) role masquerading as an eCommerce position.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing the day to day running of our eCommerce (Shopify plus) stores including product merchandising, content and campaign updates, copywriting, apps and integrations etc
  • Planning & managing the website and development roadmap for 4+ Shopify stores across 3 international markets; continually seeking new ways to provide a seamless user journey with the objective of on-site conversion, including development and improvement of UX, website design, content, navigation, performance and promotional campaigns (assisted by our web development agency partner).
  • Managing our yearly Marketing Calendars including sales, competitions and other promotional activity, seeking new ways & opportunities to drive relevance, build engagement and drive customer acquisition in a crowded & competitive digital space; (2 brands and 3+ international markets)
  • Working collaboratively with the in-house Graphic Designer, Digital Marketer (paid channels) and Social Media Manager to plan, create, implement, and track marketing campaigns
  • Create & execute pre-sale EDM flows and campaign plans (in Klaviyo) that align to the Marketing Calendars (alongside the graphic designer)
  • Setting and reporting on brand and campaign metrics and KPIs
  • Create a PR strategy for each market we’re in, and be our brand champion for partnerships, and collaboration opportunities.
  • Identify new initiatives and develop a roadmap prioritising the current list of initiatives identified, including identify new online, BTL and ATL brand channels and opportunities
  • Advocate best practice and research new industry trends/ opportunities
  • Management of our independent Customer Resource Website “The Baby Edit”

 

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

  • 4+ years of experience in managing an eCommerce or consumer-facing brand
  • A Degree in Marketing/Digital Marketing or similar
  • Experience using Shopify plus
  • Experience using an email client/CRM to produce complex customer EDM flows (Klaviyo experience highly regarded)
  • A deep, analytical understanding of tracking, optimisation and reporting on campaigns and activity
  • Excellent Project management skills that allow you to manage and deliver multiple projects to multiple deadlines;
  • Ability to think strategically and identify growth opportunities within other market segments
  • Creative flair and a passion for finding new innovative ways to communicate a brand message
  • Understanding of digital marketing automation tools and platforms
  • Strong understanding of consumer behaviour
  • Good written communication ability with copywriting experience
  • Experience in/understanding of Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads and other paid marketing platforms a plus (Our Digital Marketing (PPC) Manager will be the lead on this).

Sales & Customer Service Specialist

This position will allow you to utilise your strong sales and interpersonal skills to help grow an iconic Australian baby brand. You will be an integral part of the Babybee team, responsible for providing world-class inbound customer service with the aim of sales conversion.

Work closely with the Customer Experience Manager and Marketing team to improve our end-to-end customer journey based on customer feedback or sales tactics.

  • Assisting inbound customers with the aim of sales conversion.

Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure continual improvement with feedback effectively relayed to the manufacturing team.

  • Weekly returns management at our third party logistics warehouse in Laverton - requiring you to unbox, check and assess prams before issuing refunds.
  • Assisting with the streamlining of warranty claim systems and processes.
  • Assisting with the management of warranty claim spare parts management.
  • Working closely with our Product Manager to ensure continual improvement and constant communication of warranty issues feedback are effectively relayed to the manufacturing team.
